  When pride FC still existed in japan (it was bought by the ufc) he held both the light heavyweight and middle weight belts at the saem time. he is the only mma fighter to ever hold 2 different belts at the same time. he lost his title fight againt quinton jackson in the ufc by decision and lost his middle wieght title shot in the ufc to anderson silva by submission. i think those were flukes and he had the jitters. i think he will win his next one.
