Yep, and that’s the point. That right there says so much about the state of the HW division in the UFC. It’s improving, but it’s still the weakest division in the UFC.
Although where did you get Mir wouldn’t want to fight Couture? He couldn’t fight him because he was already scheduled to fight for the Interim Title against Nog at the end of TUF and could not fight Randy.
Randy btw should have been stripped of his title when left or at least forced to wait on Nog/Mir winner.

I do realize he is a “true master” at LW.But hey you never know December 12 could be the night where he gets defeated and a new champ is crownd.

He’s fought in the UFC before and was coming off of a big win over Matt Lindland whom not that long ago was ranked in the top 5 at MW. Add that to his victory of Rich Franklin and it makes sense why he was awarded a shot.
Plus the current top contenders (Hendo/Marquartd) have already lost to Silva.
Whether or not he deserves a shot over Marquartd/Hendo is arguable, but tt’s hardly the same situation as Lesnar.

why wouldn’t diego have a chance he more relentless then bj and will probley win a couple of the first round pluse nobody has finished him and his only losses have came from jon fitch (#2 welterweight) and josh koscheck(#4 welterweight) and even then he had a staph infection during the josh koscheck fight and those guys are 15 pounds heavier then diego is right now so i think diego has a great chance in the fight but i do agree that bj will win but i doubt he’ll finish him probley bj 48-47 ud

Yeah I’m one of those people that wanted Kenny too win he was doing pretty good but he just got caught with that choke.
Diego could win with his slight height and i think reach advantage.I could see tapping out first or second round.

yeah i completely agree i like diego alot moar than bj… although some people wanted kenny to win in 101 though he didnt… so i really want diego to win even though i think he has a high probablity of losing… and yes i agree mir will win aswell
