Wandi still puts on great fights even if he doesn’t win them all. Never really got owned except for Rampage but rampage can put anyont to sleep when he hits em right. Plus he only had 2 cut ten pounds from his last fight. If he would just fire his punches up the middle instead of always looping them he would be fine. Course he can still out box probably 90% and beat 98% of fighters on the planet in a fight. He just has to pick up for that last 2%. Always 1 of the best to watch though.

Bisping might win if he takes Wand down over and over to just control him the whole fight. That’s another possibility. Bisping’s demented ass thought taking down Hendo was a brilliant idea but Wand doesn’t have the same level of wrestling. Should be interesting.

he has good kicks too, i think maybe at light heavyweight the guys were alot bigger and taller so he couldn’t utilize them as well? He’s back with his old muay thai trainer i think so hopefully he can go back to his roots

It took Hendo 2 rounds 8:20 to take Bisping out..Wandy isn’t what he used to be!I know a few secrets that I wont discuss,Bisping will beat Wandy..

@schatje79 yeah, I’m guessing he’s going to try do what he did agianst Chris Leben, and its not going to work. He’s not fast enough to get away from Silva and like you said, he’s not going to be able to back peddle all night. everytime he tries to come in to throw some punches he’s going to eat a few and I don’t think he’s going to like that

I agree, if anything…I’m guessing Bisping will try the same tactic he did with Hendo. Stay outside, circle AWAY from the fucking power-punch this time lol…and just try to win by points unless something opens up with low-risk involved. That being said, the Axe-Murderer is a handful anywhere the fight goes and I think it’s just a matter of time before Silva catches Bisping and beats his head in a la Hendo. Bisping can only back-pedal for so long he gets caught.

@schatje79 I dont see that happening either bro. Wandy’s BJJ is head and shoulders above any ground game Bisping might possess. Yeah, he smashed Sinosic way back in the day on the ground, but you can’t even compare Elvis Sinosic to Wanderlei Silva. In my opinion Silva is too big, even though Bisping is probably taller, he’s better in every position and far more experienced. Bisping does to much wierd stuff that needs to be corrected, circles the wrong way, all that stuff. I don’t think its even

Great observation! Because in these training vids, you see him focusing on his technique and his overall fighting game. He is great with his conditioning, but I think he is at a point where he has to evolve or come with a bit more than throwing punches. He has one of the most deadliest knees in MMA history. He became well known because of that. I am glad that Wand decided to train with Cordeiro. War Wand!

Cordeiro is his Muay Thai trainer..the one he had when he was in Chute Boxe. It looks like Wand of old..I was very happy to see Wand working on his muay thai when in the clinch.
